I do NOT Advocate Smoking — Anything

I’ve always thought of February as a sucky month.  If it weren’t for Valentine’s day, I’d skip it altogether.  So, in honor of this being the last day of this sucky, dark, cold, bitter month — my photo of the day is of a package of cigarettes that my hubby recently purchased online from the Republic of Moldova.  I don’t know if these cigarettes are “safe”, but then again, they really aren’t safe here in the States either since they cause cancer and heart disease!  I do know they are less expensive.  He initially had some trouble setting up his account to get them, but now things seem to running smoothly.  I’d prefer that he gave up smoking, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon or even in our life times.  He’s smoked since he was 14 and he is now 52.  I believe he has outlived both of he parents, who were both smokers.

I hope and pray that my grandchildren do not take up smoking.  If any of them do, it will break my heart.

I recommend leaving anything that says “accident” in great big letters right across the front alone.

Even though I do not speak Moldovian, I can decipher just enough of some of the others words to make me double sure that these should be left completely alone!

Just where is the Republic of Moldova????
