Happy Holiday Weekend!

It’s Labor Day weekend here in the United States.  I would normally go see my son this weekend since he was born near this time of year (keeping the exact day a secret — shhh), but with the new business and the things that have gone on in the last month, I have lots to do and lots I’ve fallen behind on here at home.  So, I’m staying home and working on the house.

To my son — Happy birthday dear one!  I could not be more proud of you or happy to have you in my life.  You are a great person, son and father.  I love you more than I can put into words.  Can’t wait to see you next time, hear your laugh and give you a big hug.

Here is a photo of the table set up from my first jewelry party, just because I wanted to share a picture and didn’t really have anything else to share right now.  As I work longer, there will be more jewelry on the table at the parties!  The hostess loaned me the beautiful jewelry tree.  Oh it was simply lovely!  I ordered a couple of wooden jewelry display items today.  I’m really looking forward to getting them.  I’m sure I’ll love them and they will be more my personality, but they won’t have the same class as this metal tree!

I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend — getting to do whatever it is you want to do and whatever makes you happiest.

Hi Sharon, lovely photo and I agree I love the tree as well. Good luck with your new endeavor!

    • Thank you so very much, Chris! I have a bucket load of postcards I’m behind on posting. Hopefully, I’ll have to do that soon. I’ll also post photos of my jewelry stands that I just ordered when I get them. So much to do and write about, so little time!

    Hi there,
I have no idea why your blog popped up, but it did and I’m so glad! I sell S-i-l-p-a-d-a too! Welcome Sister! I like your display, your blog, and your sense of humor! I was Googling the “Kit Look Display Boxes” (something that was mentioned in the recent Weekly News from the corporate email) and your blog popped up as one of the first links. Anyway, good luck with your new business! It is sooooo fun. If you haven’t already checked out the Silpada Sistahs on http://www.linkedin.com or Facebook, check them both out. Tons of great advice 🙂
    Take care,
(Chez Harper from the ‘burbs of Los Angeles)
