Thank You!

Today is Veterans Day in the United States.  I’d like to take a moment to thank all of our Veterans and their families for their service.  Freedom is not free.  I know you have all given up a great deal to be able to serve our country.  I want you to know that your service will never be forgotten.  You will always be appreciated.

Even though our active duty military are not technically Veterans yet, I would also like to thank you.  You are currently sacrificing and serving every member of this country.  I know it’s not easy.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

To the civilians who may be reading this, many of our Veterans need our help.  It’s shameful to think of someone who has served our country and is back home and now hungry and homeless.  We all need to step up and do our share to help them.  I hope that today we will all reflect on that and do whatever is within our power to help them.  I also hope our politicians will eventually grow up and start to work together.  We have too many things that need to be worked on — together — to be playing this continued partisan bull shit with each other.

Just my two cents worth….
